Cat Care Volunteers: Each of our adoption centers is cleaned in the morning and in the evening. If you can commit to cleaning, scooping, feeding and loving the cats one shift per week please contact us. It typically takes between one and two hours to care for the cats and the room. The morning shift is requested to start around 9am and the evening shift is requested to start after 4pm but before 7pm.

Cat Socializing Volunteers: To keep our cats entertained and socialized, volunteers provide mid-day socializing time. If you can commit to an hour or two a week to play, brush, tidy up after, and love the cats please contact us. The timing of this volunteer experience is flexible – but mid-day ( between 12 and 4 pm) is ideal.

 Foster Volunteers: Can you provide a temporary home for a cat or kitten? Do you have a little extra love to share with an abandoned feline? We are always looking for new foster homes so that we can rescue more cats or to give the cats that we have a break and experience a “real” home. The Karma Cat + Zen Dog Rescue Society will arrange and pay for medical needs.
