Lindsay Margossian, TNR Coordinator
Lindsay is a long-time resident of East Brunswick where she graduated from East Brunswick High School in 2003 and went on to obtain her B.S. in Accounting from The College of NJ. Growing up, she was surrounded by animals whether it was through horseback riding lessons or her own pets. Lindsay always had a love for animals but it wasn’t until her toy poodle, Lexi, came into her life that she realized her true passion was animal behavior and animal welfare. With Lexi having Separation Anxiety, Lindsay was inspired to learn all that she could about animal behavior so that she may help her own dog. It was actually because of Lexi that Lindsay became involved in TNR. Lindsay took a Pet First Aid class when Lexi was 2 years old and it was there that she learned what not to do when you see stray or feral cats.
From there, she began to TNR in her neighborhood and spread awareness of community cats. It is her mission to pass a TNR ordinance for her hometown of East Brunswick. In her free time, Lindsay enjoys spending time with her own rescue furbabies, Benni and Micah. She enjoys spending time with friends, going to Broadway shows, and is a huge New Kids on the Block fan. Lindsay is happy to be our new TNR Coordinator and looks forward to accomplishing amazing things with the KCZD family!
